Lillian Miles Lewis
Lillian Miles Lewis was an educator and political figure who supported her husband John Lewis's career while making her own lasting impact on Atlanta's schools through her work at Clark Atlanta University. Lillian Miles Lewis moved to Atlanta to work as a librarian at Atlanta University. She met her husband in 1967 and supported him when he ran for the Atlanta City Council and his 1986 congressional race. She impacted Atlanta's schools with her work at Clark Atlanta University.
